Did का प्रयोग | Use of Did in Hindi - Rules & Examples

 

Did का प्रयोग सामान्यतः सामान्य भूतकाल (Past Indefinite Tense) के प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों (Interrogative Sentences) और नकारात्मक वाक्यों (Negative Sentences) में सहायक क्रियाओं की तरह किया जाता है।
अक्सर सामान्य भूतकाल के सकारात्मक वाक्यों में सहायक क्रिया नहीं होती, फिर भी प्रश्नवाचक, नकारात्मक और प्रश्नवाचक नकारात्मक वाक्यों में सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग किया जाता है। तो जब सामान्य भूतकाल वाक्य में सहायक क्रिया की ज़रूरत होती थी तब इस सहायक क्रिया Did का प्रयोग होता है।

Did प्रयोग करने के सूत्र | Formulas to Use Did in Past Indefinite Sentences

Interrogative Sentences के लिए Formula

Did + कर्ता (Subject) + क्रिया (Verb) + कर्म (Object)

Examples:
क्या तुम गाँव जाते थे ?
Did you go to the village
आपके भाई खेत में क्या करते है ?
What did your brother do in the farm?

Negative Sentences के लिए Formula

कर्ता (Subject) + Did + not + क्रिया (Verb) + कर्म (Object)

Examples:
हम रोज ऑफिस नहीं जाते थे ?
We did not go to office everyday?
वह मुझसे बात नहीं करती थी ?
she did not talk to me?

Interrogative Negative Sentences के लिए Formula

Did + कर्ता (Subject) + not + क्रिया (Verb) + कर्म (Object)

Examples:
क्या वे आम नहीं खाते थे ?
Did they not eat mango?
वह घर में काम क्यों नहीं करता था ?

Did के प्रयोग करने का नियम | Rules for Using Do and Does in Hindi

Rule 1. Did का प्रयोग अधिकतर सामान्य भूतकाल (Past Indefinite Tense) के Interrogative Sentences , Negative Sentences या Interrogative Negative Sentences में Helping Verbs की तरह किया जाता है।

1. क्या वह बाग में रहता था ? (Interrogative)
   Did he live in the garden?
2. मै क्लास में नहीं पढता था। (Negative)
   I did not study in class.
3. क्या वह एक पत्र नहीं लिखती थी ? (Interrogative Negative)
   Did she not write a letter?
4. तुम वहां नहीं जाते थे। (Negative)
   You did not go there.
5. ये बच्चा आपके पास क्यों खेलता था ? (Interrogative)
   Why did this child play with you?
6. ये लोग यहाँ क्यों नहीं बैठते थे ? (Interrogative Negative)
   Why did these people not sit here?
7. उसकी लड़की स्कूल कैसे जाती थी ? (Interrogative)
   How did his daughter go to school ?
8. मास्टर जी स्कूल में कहाँ नहीं पढ़ते थे ? (Interrogative Interrogative)
   Where did Masterji not teach in school?
9. वह स्कूल नहीं जाता था ? (Negative)
   He did not go to school?
10. वह स्कूल कब जाता था ? (Interrogative)
    When did he go to school?

Rule 2. हर प्रकार के कर्ता (Subject) चाहे वह Singular (एकवचन) या बहुवचन (Plural) हो, Did का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

कभी - कभी Did का प्रयोग Interrogative Sentences , Negative Sentences और Interrogative Negative Sentences के आलावा भी निम्नलिखित रूप में भी किया जाता है।

क्रिया पर जोर डालने के Did का प्रयोग

Formula:
कर्ता (Subject) + Did + क्रिया (Verb) + कर्म (Object)

Examples:
वह ऑफिस में काम करता तो था।
He did works in the office.
बच्चे रोज नहाते तो थे।
The children did take a bath everyday.
मैं रात में पढता तो था।
I did study at night.
लड़के मैदान में खेलते तो थे।
The boys did play in the field.
वे रोज यहाँ आते तो थे।

मोनिका उमेश के घर जाती तो थी ।

Have के साथ में Did Have के रूप में प्रयोग Did का प्रयोग

Have के साथ में Did Have का प्रयोग भूतकाल में ”पास रखने, पास में” के अर्थ में किया जाता है। ऐसे वाक्यों में Have का प्रयोग मुख्य क्रिया की तरह होता था। शेष नियम ऊपर बताये गए नियम की तरह ही प्रयोग होंगे। आइये उदाहरण द्वारा समझने का प्रयास करते हैं।
